Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX Act)

ManpowerGroup improves and maintains the internal control to ensure the reliability of its financial report based on the SOX Act. With respect to the annual financial report, an external auditor certifies the appropriateness of the evaluation on the effectiveness of the internal control conducted by the management.

About Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX Act)

The SOX Act is a U.S. federal law which aims to enhance the transparency and accuracy of corporate accounting and financial reporting, and defines the responsibility of business owners to investors and the potential penalties to them, as well as reforms the corporate governance and audit system. This Act is applicable to public companies in the U.S. and their subsidiaries/branches, which are recognized as a company to perform financial reporting.

As a business prescribing to privacy policy and conducting appropriate handling of personal information, ManpowerGroup was granted the "PrivacyMark" certification. We take great care to protect and manage our associates' personal information and clients' business as well as personal information.

What is PrivacyMark System?

It is a system which the Japan Information Processing Development Center (JIPDEC) certifies the personal information protection. It is only given to business operators with a developed system for the appropriate protection of personal information.
